Sure, you can do a lot of things by yourself in social media. If you're already a huge, well recognized brand then you don't need any help. But if you're just starting out, you're going to need some cooperation with other like-minded marketers. There's no reason to fight with each other; we can work together to make the pie bigger.

Link sharing, social media follows, reposts, comments, and more are all important elements in getting your site noticed by the search engines. There are a lot of forums in lists you can participate in to make that happen. But there are some real problems with that approach:

• • People cheat. They'll give you a link and then drop it. Or add "nofollow" to it after a week.
• • Same thing with social media follows. They'll follow then unfollow.
• • You can repost someone, but they may never return the favor.

We just need a way for you to be able to log into your account. No credit card required until you decide to upgrade to the Pro level.

To be honest, we both know there's no such thing as a free lunch. Servers cost money. Programmers have families to feed. Even the free stuff has to be paid for in some way. Since we know you're serious about digital marketing, we'll be sending you offers from time to time. We'll probably beg you quite a bit about upgrading to Pro. We figure that once you see how powerful our free stuff is, you'll plonk down your credit card and upgrade to really supercharge your marketing.
